Limited Lifetime Rock Chip Repair Warranty

The repair process involves the injection of a specialized resin into the break and/or cracks in the glass. The object of the repair is to prevent the break from spreading further.  Visual improvements are a byproduct of this process.  As such, the success of each repair varies depending on several factors. The best results are obtained when the damage is recent, the point of impact is small, the cracks around the damaged area are small, and there is no moisture, foreign matter or contamination in the damaged area.  Visual clarity improvements can vary from 60-90% depending on the type of break, the angle that the light is being refracted, location, thickness of the glass, and other factors listed above. 

In some cases, the process of the repair of a windshield can result in the chip or crack becoming larger or spreading beyond what is repairable under the ROLAGS standards.  If this happens, we not responsible for such damage and cannot be held liable for the replacement cost of the windshield. 

We guarantee that the repaired portion of the windshield will not crack further and that the repair will pass any state vehicle inspection, or we will credit the cost of repair toward replacement. This repair warranty applies to the specific glass that was serviced for as long as you own or lease the vehicle on which the repair was made. This warranty is not transferable by the customer to any party outside of their household.  Wyndshyld reserves the right to assign or transfer liability of this warranty to a designated agent or third party at its discretion without prior consent. 

This warranty does not cover any new, non-related repairable damage beyond the repairs performed on the date listed on your invoice.  Should an unauthorized service provider, owner, driver, operator or other unauthorized person tamper with the covered repair to fix, modify, or change the covered repair, this warranty will be considered null and void.  In no event shall Wyndshyld, the manufacturer, distributor, or agents thereof be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

Any changes or updates made to this warranty only apply to services completed after the last updated date as listed below.  Any services completed prior to that date are still covered under the original warranty that was in effect at the time services were rendered. 

Limited Lifetime Warranty for Auto Glass Replacement

Your new replacement windshield, door glass, sunroof, moonroof, quarter glass, or back glass carries a limited lifetime warranty to protect you against defects relating to material installation, manufacturing, or workmanship that result in leaks, wind noise, or other issues not listed as long as these claims are reported within 30 days of the issue being discovered. Issues not listed will be covered at the discretion of Wyndshyld. 

Wyndshyld will also warranty OEM Equivalent (OEE) and aftermarket (AM) glass parts against manufacturing defects including brackets, mirror buttons, unusual distortion and any other manufacturing defects concurrent with the glass manufacturers warranty.  In the event that Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) glass is installed, the warranty of the glass will be limited to that of the OEM manufacturer and dealership part warranty.  Wyndshyld cannot be held liable for manufacturing defect of OEM glass. 

This warranty only applies to the specific part installed and the vehicle that the part was installed on at the time of service.  At our sole discretion, we will repair or replace the warranted product, or correct the defective workmanship, at a mutually agreed upon time. If we have made reasonable attempts to correct the issue, Wyndshyld, at their sole discretion, may refund some or all the amount invoiced at the time of service or purchase to the original payee or with advanced approval, reimburse or cover the cost of the repairs at a shop of our choosing.  This warranty is not transferable by the customer to any party outside of their household, however, Wyndshyld reserves the right to assign or transfer liability of this warranty to a designated agent or third party at its discretion without prior consent. 

This warranty does not cover any new, damage that did not exist at the time of service, leaks, stress cracks, or related damage in connection with installations to vehicles having damage or rust on the pinch weld. Wyndshyld will use commercially reasonable efforts to advise you of the existence of such damage or rust prior to the removal of existing glass; however, it is often not possible to do this. In these cases, Wyndshyld is not responsible for any associated damage. In addition, damage not involving defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty. Should an unauthorized service provider, owner, driver, operator, or other unauthorized person tamper with the replacement part covered to fix, modify, or change the part in question, this warranty will be considered null and void.  In no event shall Wyndshyld, the manufacturer, distributor, or agents thereof be liable for incidental or consequential damages. This Wyndshyld auto glass warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
